WHO AM I?
Beth Doughty is one of the longest tenured and experienced marketing and economic/community development professionals in Virginia. She has been named a Top 50 Economic Developer in North America by Consultant Connect three times; more than any other economic developer in Virginia. And she has been recognized more than 50 times for award-winning marketing for business, nonprofits, and government agencies.
She started out as a creative director for advertising/public relations agencies in Roanoke, Virginia and Washington, D.C. and still believes communications is critical to the success of any project. But she found her bliss finding creative ways to grow economies as executive director of the Roanoke Regional Partnership and as president/CEO of the Roanoke Regional Chamber of Commerce. Now, as Beth Doughty LLC, she is putting her experience and her network of expert smart friends to work for clients.
Beth is an honors graduate of the University of Virginia. She is married to a member of the Virginia Sports Hall of Fame and proud mother of four successful adults.
